Not bad. But you could save an assload of money by just buying my CAI.

....and I still think you should tackle suspension first. You'll wish you did down the road, but to each his own.
Don't think yours would fit. I've got the CX...It has to mount vertically to the intake, THEN it bends horizontally, I think... All I know is that it is VERY different than my HX. But if you have any input on fitment (no ghetto-riggin') and an AEM CAI, then I might be interested! Lemme know! Thx!

Get the suspension, and a quality adjustable set-up if you can afford it. you will be amazed.....Power is nothing without control.

weak! Pretty much the only thing you could do is try to find the very top piece, then cut mine to where you need it to mount up to that.

the first real mod i did to my car was poly bushings. my car is 16 years young and that was the single biggest thing i have ever done, it felt completely different like i just spend 1k on new coilovers, and i was rollin on stock steelies and it could handle great. so go the suspension route first with a GOOD set of springs and shocks.
That's a great improvement as well. I would get those too, if only I had the dough

And the "ghetto-riggin'" comes into play! Man, I just wanna do it right; no mismatched colors, painting it myself, or rigging up something to MAKE it work. No offense man!

Um.....Both. The HX has been the one I've been working with. But I bought a CX recently, and that is what I'm working on now.

No ghetto riggin involved actually. You'd just need to spend the $1-$8 on a piece of mandrel bent piping, made out of the same material as the rest of the pipe. Then get matching couplers, which would come with my intake anyway. Not trying to push you this way, I'm just pointing out that you could save an assload of cash. Besides, an intake is nothing more than a pipe with a filter.

Ok this has made it easy.

Best 3 first mods and I am not kidding is 1. a 96-00 ex intake manifold(preferably a 99/00 intake manifold from a automatic as it is a direct bolt on/no need to customize anything), 2 is a 96-00 ex transmission, shorter gears, a must have for you. 3 An exhaust setup from a 96-00 ex to get the cat off the exhaust manifold.

The intake mani's gonna get taken care of with a Skunk 2 Mani, as is the exhaust with the turbo and Greddy cat-back. But the EX tranny is a good idea. I remember reading about that in quite a few threads. I'll go search that as well! Thanks!

BTW, I'm plannin' on buying 97civicturbo's engine stuff (head, tranny, IM, throttle body, ecu) and putting most of it on my HX to open THAT one up a bit since it's gonna be my DD while I work on the CX!
