* cough * I have yet to receive the clutch in. I filed a ebay/paypal claim with him, so hopefully that gets resolved soon. That's the next DIY I am focused on.

I could be getting little DIYs done that I have taken under my wing, but I am more worried about getting the car fixed up 100% to get my inspection sticker (steering rack, inner ties rods, front pads/rotors) I should be starting back up on the DIYs next week.

Oh, and can an admin rename that section to "Steering, Suspension, & Brakes" instead of just "Suspension"?

I will be honest and say that the DIY Clutch replacement that I said I was going to do will not be happening. It is ALOT more involved than I thought for some reason and I had no time to take pictures since my hands were covered in oil the entire time.... damn leaky rear main seal.

The DIY trans. fluid drain & fill should be ready soon, as well as a few others I signed up for.

Bump, updated the thread and sections. Things should be correct now.

Except for some reason the default view settings are by "thread title" and "ascending" when they should be "date of last post" and "descending". Also, no one has the ability to start a thread in the DIY main forum like we were supposed to. That was supposed to be the area where you could request DIYs.

The DIY and Product Review sections are intentionally arranged by Thread Title (Ascending) for easy navigation. I have changed them back and forth too many times already so you guys need to get together and figure out how the hell you want them arranged.

From what I can see in the Forum Manager panel, there is no reason why people shouldn't be able to start new threads in the DIY Main forum...

Who decided that the DIY section was gonna go by thread title? Last I heard, we wanted all of them to be by last post and descending for consistency's sake.

I moved the overhaul thread to the DIY section but then I couldn't post a reply in it. So something still isn't right in the main DIY forum.

I thought it was reaper but maybe someone else, I dont remember.

Whoever it was, was going to change all the thread titles to something like...

"DIY: Catch Can Install"
"DIY: Clutch Install"
"DIY: Flywheel Resurfacing"

That way if you're looking for "Flywheel...." you can go to the F's, rather that having to read every title until you find the one you're looking for. Something like this:
