vascar.. yeah timing the ammnt of time across the white lines... best way to get around that.. is jack the brakes as u start threw it.. haha it screws up the timing
as long as you can calculate the speed ur going and the speed u shoulda been going..and slow it down to a time with in that parameter ur safe... now vascars easy to fight also..cause the cop needs proof that u were clocked thru there....
at least its not ohio..the fly over you with a plane doing vascar..match ur speed and then call out the po's about 1/2 mile from you

They could use white lines but actually most of the time they use a landmark as a reference point. They start it when you pass the landmark and then stop it when you pass the next landmark. Then it calculates your speed. The landmarks can be anywhere from .125 to anything less than or equal to 1 mile. How Vascar Works. Enjoy.

i am pretty sure radar detectors are illegal here, well at least they are back home anyway, i jsut know where the cops sit and wait for you, so i jsut slow down in those areas

I have many friends that are cops. I also am in college for criminal justice, so that along with a few buddies names being dropped, gets me out of whatever jam im in. As for radar detectors.......theyre pointless. A patrolman can sit hidden on the parkway (or whatever road) with the radar off........when he sees your headlights he can flip it on, and your radar will go nuts, but he already clocked you..........believe me, my next door neighbor is a Sgt in the NJSP, and my buddy spend like 400 bones on a radar detector, and my neighbor showed him how easy it is to beat it.

i think what pete is saying is by the time you decellerate the cop hsa already clocked you.
