i think bush is doing a commendable job. We had to go to war.....there was no other option. You care about drilling for oil in Alaska but what about when weve drilled elsewhere to get it. Its a Natural Resource and we need it. I voted for Bush and would do it again, he is making the right moves. If we drill for the oil we will have more for use and the prices will drop. You think we need to find alternate sources of fuel? U must have no clue wht that would cost.....it would be a million times cheaper to jus drill for the oil.....if u dont agree with drilling for oil in Alaska then u shouldnt agree with drilling anywhere for it. So either park your car for eternity or THINK before u speak........and dont give me the BS that kerry woulda done a better job.....wtf is he goin to do? Pull our troops outta the mid east.....let innocent people die.......and i guess hed have figured out a way to power cars differently right? .......things happen for a reason..........do u have a job? Money in your pocket? Public Schools? do u feel safe? Thats what i thought. ~Pete

ok so you obviously didnt read what i said, becuase i didnt mention anything about kerry, and i didnt say that i support drilling in other places, except alaska. and i do have a job?? I AM IN THE MILITARY. i think bush has done a good job on certain things, and dropped the ball on certain things, but honestly, thats the way it would be with any president, no president will be able to please everyone, and i am expressing my freedom of speech. and by the looks of things, innocent people are already dying. i really dont give a **** if you like bush or not, but dont try talking **** to me about john kerry, when i didnt even mention his name or anything about him once.i dont even like kerry, they only thing i am saying is that BY drilling in alaska, it is going to ruin alot of things, nature, wildlife etc, THATS my concern. i dont give a **** that they are drilling, i just wish it wasnt there. and you are right, we do need oil, it is a natural resource, but sooner or later we are going to run out, and then what?? thats why i am saying we should start looking for other alternatives.

its like i posted before, look at the prices for a barrell of oil today, compared to 10 years ago when gas was $.93 a gallon. THEY ARE THE SAME, the government wants us to believe there is a shortage of oil to to bring gas prices up, which makes people think there is a shortage of oil, when there really isnt. All of this to justify the war, and the drilling. If people opened there eyes and were aware of what was going on, there would be a revolution. but people prefere to go throught life with there eyes shut. Im not going to tell people how to live, i just think everything is messed up.
thats funny, because it seems to me that 10 years ago, oil was roughly half the price it is now, even when adjusted for inflation. its not as bad now as everyone thinks it is, but dont believe propaganda until you research it. i dont think we should drill for that oil yet, but it IS a resource that we will need someday. im all for alternate fuel sources, and i think Bush is messing up royally on that, but we DO need oil, and not just for fuel. its used in a ton of other things. but we have to understand that there is still a lot of research being done on alternate sources, just not as much being funded by the US government. and seriously, how many soccer moms are gonna drive a hydrogen powered van/SUV? and if women had to plug them in to charge every night, how often would they be having problems with it? i am still occassionally catching my wife not arming her car alarm. i have to remind her about once every 2 months. but thats on a button she carries with her, not something extra she has to do before she can get in the house. we will be relying on gasoline for at least another 10-20 years. but we have plenty of oil for that, esp if they slowly lessen the amount that we rely on.

im not here to cause a fight either bro....im just sayin that everyone who drives a gasoline car is approving the drilling for oil anywhere......if u buy the product u are agreeing to them drilling for it......cuz thats how its obtained.
