The thing is it depends on your skin and how thick your stubble is. For me, I have a $50 e-shaver for emergency's. AfterI use it I get bumps all over my throat. And all of that mach 3 bullchit with 4 blades doesnt work for me either. I use 2 bladed desposables because of my thick stuble. More than two blades does nothing but grab and rip my hair out instead of cutting it.

damn, mill$you gave me a solution to my problem...my facial hair is coarse as boar pubic hair (don't ask me how I know this) and now I'll just pick up an electric and finish off with the Mach3
Iv never actually used this before, but I was reading a mag, and for guys that have a tuff time shaving because or coarse hair, or just for any guy who wants a really close shave, use a product called shaving oil. Many companys make it..you leave it on for 5 min then put on shaving cream then shave, it lifts the hair to get a really smooth easy shave. Iv been meaning to get it.

Btw: its not actually a "oil" so it wont make you brake out or anything

I have a phillips, not sure what model. Got it from Canadian Tire at X mas it was 120 bucks. Hate it, it works but I have to shave the next day. With a good wet shave and my mach 3 turbo, I can go 3 or 4 days.

I use a remington titanium (its really a trimmer). I don't remember the exact cost but i think it was under $100. Works pretty well. Only prob i've had with them is taking the blade thing out cause i keep breaking the clips and i can't find replacements.
