I went to open my car this morning to drive to work, and my door wasn't shut all the way. I open it and see my radio is pulled halfway out and the face is on the floorboard. I was pissed but relieved they didn't take it. While I was driving to work, I noticed my trunk was open. I park and look in to notice my speakers are gone. I think about it for a second and wonder how they got them. I have the latch by the driver seat locked, so they can't open it that way. You need a key to open the back seat so that is a no go. You also need the key for the trunk itself. They is no visible damage to the car, so how did they do it? If they picked it they should have had time to take other stuff. All they took was the box. Amp still there, radio, and all my tools were still in the car.

Now, I am not too worried cause I got them at Pep Boys for $50. I had a million things to do at work, so I didn't have time to deal with the cops or the insurance for $50. When I was at Advance I bought some cool blue lights and was putting my old ones in the trunk when I noticed my road kit gone. That thing is $35. So all together (so far) $85 got stolen from me.I have some good friends that are helping me out though.

 

yeah, i parked near my dorm and some ****heads did a series of car breakin's in a 1 block radius (16-18 cars total) they broke my window, damaged interior pieces, and stole a pack of gum and a set of cheapo glasses from AE. about 150 bucks, but that still tears me up. i'm not that violent of a person, but i would have beat the criminal to death (and i'm not playing)

 

Somebody would have to be mentally retarded to come on my land and steal from me.
