jake, if you have a basement, you can line the walls with MDF and acoustic foam tiles.

No basement Remmy. It's either add to the existing structure or build a separate one. I'm going to talk to a few contracters and see what my options are. I don't want a cheap add-on that looks out of place on the home and I don't want a little cheap building in the backyard that has the potential of decreasing value and overall appeal. Hopefully one of the two will be feasible.

I've been a busy little bee moving in and everything. I got a chance to get a few more pics before everything got stacked up with boxes and bags. I hate moving..[:@]

Here are the garage pics I promised. It's a pretty small garage. There is enough room to open both doors on one car if both are parked correctly. (My wife needs a little more practice ) The door on the far left is the hot water tank. Center white door is the entrance, and exterior exit/entry on the far right...I would like to stain the floor with a classy durable finish. I really don't want a race or sport theme. And I plan on putting up storage shelving / cases in the available space on the right. With limited storage in the garage, I'll have to buy an exterior storage shed for the lawnmower and landscaping equipment...

The builder did not have the detail enthusiast in mind when he put this teeny tiny light in here. With the garage door opener and bulb both turned on it is still not enough light for a serious detail. Definitely have to upgrade the lighting...

Backyard. It needs some more sod. The builder's contract was only for 6000 sq. ft....

Any comments or suggestions are welcome on the garage. It just feels so good being a homeowner!!!

Wow... I love it.

Jake Ive got a great idea for your garage. get a die cut huge honda logo and place it on the floor. Then get that clear garage floor paint and paint over it to seal it in... that would be cool as hell.

I love the house. Its beautiful. I dont think you have enough wall outlets though

Thanks Remmy.

Honda logo on the floor. My wife would kill me. She already says I have a "Car Demon" I think that would push her over the edge. That's true about the outlets. I wish he would've put a few more outlets in the garage.
