No 150whp is not do-able without opening the bottom end. Sorry.
Do you consider cam and springs bottom end? I think with all bolt-ons (I/H/E, intake manifold, TB, cams and springs, pulleys(I know they don't add much but in this discussion everything helps)), 150whp is possible.

are you kidding me? there are d16s out there running turbos and dynoing at 235hp. on stock internals.

and mini-mes run 135ish on stock internals. even on 6 psi, thatd be running almost 200hp.

I am talking N/A

.020" over
~12:1
Cam
Crower Rods
Titanium retainers/springs
1mm oversized stainless valves
Port work
954rr ITBs/custom fabricated manifold
Holley header
Ghettodyne/Greddy Emanage engine management

Dynoed a little over a week ago, it put just over 150 to the wheels
A little over 150 to the wheels from all that, like I said 150 to the wheels in a D series takes opening up the bottom end.

I beg to differ, and as a matter of fact, I will prove you wrong this year as I will be building a NA car.

And what? 12:1 alone should be good for 150.

it could be done. it wouldnt be easy or cheap though. im thinking high comp valves, milled head, big cam, springs, retainers, ITBs, and all the bolt-ons. all run through an AEM EMS or Hondata. but at that point, you might as well open the block, unless you were out to make a point.

i doubt it will run for that long. a d series motor is only suppose to be able to handle about 200hp. thats on stock internals of course.
