for the rattling noise, my car does that too. I found out it was my shifter hitting the exhaust. After installing ES shifter bushings, it still rattled but not as much anymore. Just a thought.
Ugh, why didnt I think of that! I installed a B&M short shifter a couple years ago and I know it sits right ontop of the exhaust. So how do I fix that? Is it the incorrect shifter for my ride?

ok, well adjust the hangers first. Because of the vibrations it may have moved closer. Still, get under there with the car on and figure out exactly where tis comin from

Hey, at least you get to drink when you're depressed, some of us youngins don't have that option :P

As for the exhaust, mine was doing that too and it turned out it was a little tiny metal ring (one of those you screw on to tighten) around the header near the front axle. I tightened that and it went away. If you want more to do to get you undepressed, my Roxanne could always go for some working on :P We could sit around and be emo buddies.

Sitting around and being "emo" is not my thing. I'd rather jump on my bike and hit some canyon roads. I just cant do it when Ive been drinkin!
