So it was about 9:30pm (here in Cali), when I was driving. All of a sudden this dog runs out from a bunch of parked cars on the side of the road. I didn't have enough time to stop and next thing I know I hear a loud "thump thump". I looked in my mirror and the dog was still moving but I never actually went back to check. So I pulled into a parking lot near by to find out that my carbon fiber lip is f****d up on the passenger side. (I'll post pics later). So I feel bad about the dog (but what can you do?) but I'm pissed about the lip! So here's my dilema. 1. Should I purchase another CF lip or an ABS plastic one and get it painted to match my car. 2. Should I stay with the same style or use this opportunity to change it?

pretty quick to jump the gun on future plans though, lol, i say get a different style lip, and maybe paint it

To me, the front lip is the one place I don't want carbon fiber. Thats too much money to just let it hang off the bottom of your car. Get one painted to match, imo

ya definatly ABS swap.... ditch the carbon fiber lip... like said its just WAY TO EASY TO DAMAGE!!!!!!!!

ive thought about a OEM SI lip BUT not sure how flexable it is......

 

I'm torn, keep the same style definitely, but idk if you should just paint it to match, or maybe just get the same exact lip, i'm torn cuz your color scheme is really sick and i think the CF lip adds to it....either way keep the same style, but as for the color, do what you want its your car in the end

Damn, no stoppy for the dog. I would have gone back to it and checked to see if it was still alive. If so, I would put the dog in my car and take it to the hospital while I would check the tags for a phone number to let the owners know.
