I agree with sony being your best bang for the buck. How much are yo thinking of spending?

Deff a no no on the home theatre in a box.

4-600. The binaura has some pretty good reviews online and apparently can compare to a 5.1 plus the sub is decent and not a passive but a powered sub.

The Sony is a great choice. Their home stuff pwns. I think they ought to have a chat with the car audio department though

LOL, that is so true.

for 4-600 you would be best off with sony. You can always start off with a decent sony line and slowly upgrade every peice 1 at a time. thats what I am in the process of right now.

Plus, I just saw in the Best Buy ad they have some Sony recievers on sale.
