My insurace was ungodly with the Civic. It actually went down significantly when I bought a 2006 MINI that's worth three times as much as the Civic. Go figure.

my insurance is under my moms name and i pay $500 every 6 months. im 20 and by myself it wouldve came out to $750 every 6 months!!!! It's about to go up though because i just got a speeding ticket In Lake Tahoe and i didnt take traffic school!!!!!

When i was 17 and got my first car nuder my own name and my own insurance, i was paying $3100 a year, now i am 21 have a clean record and i am still paying $1968 a year, and that is ONLY for $500,000 Liability... i would love to switch over to Full coverage, but i can't afford it[:@]

Me (16, drivers license for 4 months, Driver's Ed discount, good grades discount), my father and my mother for a Camry, Civic, and CB7 is $400/6 months for liability. State Farm.
