I'm looking to get one once they're in their 3rd year or so...when the problems are worked out.

Yea, although its pretty much a Charger SRT-8 with a different body isn't it? A shame they're only offering an auto. At least its a 5-speed auto with the option to shift it yourself. I would have cringed if it was the usual 4-speed auto that the Detroit automakers have been clinging to for so many years.

the charger SRT-8 is a badass car... A charger SRT-8 with a lighter body should be much more fun

the charger srt-8 should be good. However the srt is ok. Dont get fooled by the hemi. they are sedans, they are not that fast. I know this dude that raced a charger r/t with his camaro and won

The 2009's will have an optional 6 speed manual. There are rumours of a 6.4L version and a convertable version. The article below has some nice info. Anyone got an extra $40k?

IMO I think all these new retro cars look generic within an hour. I also think they are trying a little too hard and pushing too fast reviving these old schools. Whats next? Another Road Runner but with a park bench wing to boot?
