Okay I know i've been gone for a while lol get my license back in bout 4 months so ill be back haha, but my sister bought a car and the people sold her the car but said they couldnt give her the title yet since they were still paying it off. Turns out it has a salvage title and we would like to know what salvaged it.

Get rid of that car ASAP. That title was surely stolen. Or should I say the car.

Mine is salvaged. Its just been wrecked 4 times.

 

You need to contact your AG office to file a vehicle complaint. At least here in Michigan, the sale would be illegal.

 

Yeah the title on my civic is salvaged as well.
Yeah why not look into what critter said.. there might be some legal actions you could take?

 

you can get them for a damage disclosure..that they didnt disclose that it was damaged and they should have to give you all your money back. as for it being a stolen car...my teggie was rear ended and rear ended someone else...and totaled.. so its a salvage title too

 

my passat is salvage titled. its not a big deal anymore. did you know that a perfectly good theft recovery is considered a salvage in GA and AL if the insurance company paid the victim for their stolen car? however, i do agree that there is something fishy about he whole deal. hope you get it straightened out Nike...
