Default insurance for Civics

Are insurance for Civics more expensive than other cars? I always see Civics and Accords on the list of most stolen car. Of course, the list goes by car make, model and year but I think the insurance companies use this excuse to jack up all the price for all Civics.

Now that I am mentioning this, I should get rid of my 88 Camry too because the for some reason, the 89 Camry also tops the list. hahah

SWEET! I used to have an 88 Camry. That thing took the worst beatings ever, and just kept on going.

anyway, Civics are fairly cheap to insure unless you have a poor driving record, or buy a brand new Si

When people say most stolen vehicle (integras/civics) they are almost always talking in generalities. The Si's and GSR's are much more stolen b/c of the engines, but a normal non-dohc civic isn't near as stolen.

If it makes you feel better in paying slightly over 900 every six months (full coverage, 18 year old driver, and I have had one wreck) and the gsr i was looking at would have run me almost 1200 every six months for the exact same coverage.
