Way to be basbal123, make all the money you can, and save as much as you can before you got bills to pay every month!!!

If I were you, I'd save save save. Take a couple grand and stick it in a CD accountthat matures about the time you leave for college. Once you get to college theres gonna be a LOT you're gonna want to (and/or HAVE to) spend your money on besides your car. I'm not sayin don't spend anything on customizing your car now, but I wouldn't do anything that could even risk making it less reliable or more expensive to maintain!

Get a good security system tho! I know way too many people who got their cars or a lot of stuff out'o'their cars jacked right after they moved to college!

I got my Batchelors Degree in Business Management and managed a small chain of pawn shops for the past two years. Recently got a new job as a Systems Administrator/ lvl 3 Tech Support guy for one of the major automotive computer corporations. My job is awesome

I'm a heavy-duty mechanic. Or rather...mech in training. I work for a small company that does fleet service for a local trucking outfit, so I wrench on semi's all day. As for mods, I have only one. An SRI. Eventually that will change, but right now I'm paying off afew years of foolishness, so I'd rather take care of that right now then mod my car...although I want to pick up a front strut bar soon, and replace the struts. (its a DD so I won't do any major mods)

I had two good paying jobs, my own job and a side business... until I decided to go back to school and took up a part time job as a butcher at Albertsons... and got divorced... holy crap now I even talk like I'm bitter! I'm moving to Utah this week to take a job as a translator/liazon for Japanese businessmen and tourists. I took a major $$$ hit since the divorce but I forgot how cheap it is being single again! I can already afford the k-swap but I am still nervous to do it. engine swap=sacrificing any chance of getting my wife back!

YOU CAN READ IT! That's great... been here for a year and a half and finally sees the kanji under my sig! You worked for good ol' 日本電気*式会社 (NEC) huh, that'd be alot of fun! Can you actually read the kana or did you babel fish it? NEC is a huge company, like one of the bigger semiconductor companies in maybe the world?
