its all about techno/house. club music. good speakers and a nice system.. you can take the club with you everywhere.

country and metal are chit. metal is retarded (no offense) but its not music to bang on drums and scream a lot. and country is just annoying.
Musical talent > Being able to operate a sound machine. Do you have any musical background what so ever? I'm guessing no, since you think that shredding across every fret of a guitar in a matter of seconds is "chit," yet being able to push a few buttons and spin some records is teh pwnz..

"no offense" <--stupidest phrase ever, 90% of the time it seems like it's only used when you really do mean to be offensive

/rant

I'm a big fan of metal, modern rock, classic rock, old school punk (windcalmer hit the nail on the head, but I would totally add NOFX and the Misfits to his list), some screamo, even some emo. Other stuff I like to just chillto, is Jazz and Reggae.

I'm not even going to bother bosting my band list, you guys will be reading for hours
I agree. However, Tony and Tyler know first hand that I listen to a lot of electronica... however its not the tacky techno chit that you typically hear. The people behind these 'sound machines' I listen to actually have talent and refuse to remix some britney spears crap of gwen steffani. Hell, 99% of the stuff I listen to you all have never heard of or even begin to fathom of who makes it. oMost of them come out of Italy, Brazil, Germanyand France anyway.

Well the cd I have in my car right now includes the following: Eminem, Rage Against the Machine, Keith Urban, Red hot Chili Peppers, NWA, Children of Bodom (hate crew deathroll, one of my favorites), and Snoop Dogg. hahah kind of an odd mixture, but you gotta mix it up.

how do you figure...sellout is a word ignorant people throw around to make themselves sound and feel like they are too good for mainstream music.

in most cases (especially lately with the comeback of "real music") bands who go mainstream do it because they work hard and have talent...

tell me how they are sellouts...in your moronic sense of the word

i would not care if you dissed them...if only it was an intelligent comment

now i dont know you so i cant say for sure...but im guessing you have no idea about music, the music industry, or the red hot chili peppers

I'll add one to the list, Triple Corpse Hammerblow

Frelly, I agree that the guys who make trance/techno wtfever you want to call it do have talent. But it pales in comparison to the talent possesed by someone like Kirk Hammet. Do you have anything recorded from your 18 years of rock band experience? Any originals? Have you ever seen anything I've written? No, so I wouldnt be so quick to judge.

I will have recordings up as soon as I get my music room set back up. Both Vocal, and some guitar stuff, 100% original

And yeah, Remmy listens to wierd ****.

that's questionable. Have you ever heard of BT? He's probably one of the most known electronica composers. The guy won numerous awards and has written music for a few movies and cartoons

Yeah I know who BT is, definitely talented, but I still stick to what I said..

I had a friend in high school that was heavy into that kinda stuff, even put out a few cd's.He has and will admit that using all the equipment he has is still not as hard as being able to shred a guitar and sing at the same time.
