yeah..but theyre gonna flame the ish out of you since you own imports...and a firebird...but there are ALOT of non stang owners there...but there are several very active honda guys.

Those guys are dicks to eachother over there. I read a couple posts where one guy would say "you lost to an import? Sell you mustang you dont deserve it." LOL

 

a great many of them are dicks, period...

there are some good guys over there, who drive mustangs, as well as nonners...but i could do without many of the members there.

 

md got it right. the mustang gt is a huge step up for ford. its got the retro look of the old 66's (personally i think it looks more like a mach 1) but it also has the power and expandibility of an f-body. now...im not saying its as good of a car as a good Formula or SS, but it deffinately has good stock numbers and good expandability. the mustang historically is...well...a girls car. it looks...not too bad...but it had no power whatsoever. my moms second car was a 76 mustang, and after a beast of a 350 Cutlass salon, a boat of a mustang 4-banger was a hellhole of a car. she talks about how much she hated it because of that. well...historically, the mustang is a girls car. 'cute' but underpowered. this is a big deal for the mustang, coming from the factory as a good performer.

and monkey boy...dont go hating the new mustang GT when you have a civic with a SRI

 

we are in understanding that the mustang is still the stock slowest of the american made RWD coupes, right?

all of the vettes are faster...the GTOs..the viper...the "best" mustang that they made in ages was the 03-04 cobra,a nd they went away from that....and even then, the 03-04 cobras are only a "good match" for the C6 vettes, C5 Z06s, and GTOs...
