My car has no interior
Other than the front seats, center consol, and dash/dash componets. Yep I stripped all the trim, carpet seat belts(in the rear still have the front 2).
I fixed my dad's girlfreinds jeep by putting a new fuel pump, plug wires on it. Got done about 5:30ish today with it. The fixed my dad's riding mower which took about 30 minutes(new fuel line, took off and rebuilt the carburater), then we went out to eat as he wanted to repay me for the work I had done for him. Got back to the house and was messing around and me and my buddy decided to just do it. Started by removing the front seats, then center consol, then the carpet. I got to looking at it and it honestly does not look bad, looks like it is ready for the track so i decided to just go the rest of the way with it.
I then removed the side panels in the rear, took off the door panels, removed what was left of the insulation. I am happy with it. I about bet I have taken around 100lbs out of the car in the last week while still retaining comfortable surroundings for the front 2 passengers. After I did all this me and him were looking at it and have decided that there are loads of key points I can use to stiffin the chassis so we are going to start drawing up supports and start fabbing them up in the next couple weeks.
