OMG Free Wi-Fi?
Here is my story about free wifi. I was working at a mechanic's shop and the mechanic had a wireless card so he was trying to get a signal. I was standing right there. So he finds a signal and logs onto it, he never gets onto the internet but he does get a virus. The virus ends up screwing his whole computer up. His computer had AllData that he got from his previous employer, which is gone now. So he pretty much got screwed pretty good.
the thing about the wifi at coffee shops and at schools. is its just so damn slow and i think that it will become that after a while. but i also think its never going to be free. b/c you'll wind up having to buy some special antenna to get the best strangth signal and **** like that. it will suck i say just get your own and convert it to wifi it doesn't cost much if you set up the network urself its not that hard i did it for a friend
my college is a wifi hotspot.. so is mcdonalds..the dollar store.. and a few other places around the area..but nothing in the whole city yet.. i heard parts of nyc are that way..and phillie...big cities ive heard are starting it...but i know college campuses have been doing it for years
