i can tell you right now. I own a lespual and a stratocaster. The Paul has got a covered humbucker and it has less of a hum to it. no static. Whereas the Strat with the open Humbucker is very touchy to feedback and stuff. The Covered has a warmer tone imo,.. If i missed something ill let Forties roomy cover it.
