WCC does excellent work. But there's no way I'd turn them loose on my car without my direct, specific input. They just go too wild with some of that stuff on there. Simmer down now, simmer down...
regardless of the crap that west coast customs creates you have to admit that they do a great job at it. they got some really skilled people its just they do the stupidest stuff to the cars. i mean i agree with forty. they are trying to cater to a totally different crowd. i mean they go more on looks ( ricer ) than performance ( tuner ). i guess it makes them more money to go that way. what i'm trying to say is don't hate on them. wcc have mad skills, its just that they get paid to entertain a different crowd.
oh, and the new cast on pimp my ride gets some getting used to.

mad random, but i love how they made a huge deal about putting an LT1 into that old school Chevelle when WCC use to do the cars on the show...mad mike was all like "this things got FUEL INJECTION!!! Aint no Chevelle running around with FUEL INJECTION...lol" dumbass
Yah ok so its fuel injected and that weak *** LT1 makes all of 285 hp if they didnt mess anything up, which i doubt. lol

Well i have a 12 year old "weak *** LT1" and it pushes my car through the traps at over 100mph and in the high 13's.

In fact I was reffering more to WCC for chosing the cheaper "weaker" way of putting a needed new motor in a car. They bought up an obviously old LT1, dressed it up, and called it new. When they could have sprung a few extra thousand and got an LS1, or possibly even a ZZ1 crate or some other GM Performance motor.

Which as I read it is a simple plain statement of defensive fact.

And proceeded to turn this into an argument rather than a plain simple statement of fact. Who's incinting a "flame war"?
(On the other hand... butthurt. Hehe, I gotta remember that. Where's Remmy?)

Im assuming this is in an Fbody, instead of taking offense to it, and possibly causing a flame war, i guess I will be the bigger man and say you should have taken this as a joke, and just kept quiet. Dont get butthurt just because I used the words "weak" with LT-1. It is a weak motor in stock form, and if you think otherwise you need to re evaulate what you consider to be a strong V8.

I dont get butt hurt over stupid crap like that but the LT1 when it came out layed down fine power and they are rock solid engines. 100K+ on mine and yes it is stock other than a K&N FIPK and a Cat-Back and it uses no oil, never studders, still running respectable times at the track, and still gets around 30mpg on the highway. Weak.....I guess you could call it that but at the time it was far from weak, compare it to what was out when it was new.

I know the LT1 was a great motor when it came out, my dad had a 97 SS Camaro with the LT1 and it made great power, but its technologically passed its time, thats all i was saying.
