You can put all kinds of electronic gadgets to protect your car/motorcycle/etc, but if a thief wants your car, he will be able to get it.

i agree but i think with an alarmsystem, kill switch, autolock and lojack, it will take a great deal of time for the thief to take even to put on a flatbed, if u get a steeering wheel lock and autolock and turn your wheels to the curb, itll be hard for the thief to take... but theifs are ridiculous now adays. thanks for the info hcf

Theives around here have been carrying around license plates lately. They'll find a car they like that matches the description of what's on the plate, swap the plates, call AAA, and have them tow it for them.

****ers.

Thats nuts. On a somewhat related note... Theres a friend of a friend down in texas thats kind of a dirtbag, and really wanted a mkI MR2. So he found one, stole it, pulled the wheels off of it and busted the pass. window, then put it up on bricks in a random ghetto location. Waited a couple days, then went back to where he originally stole it from. There was the car, on 4 donuts sitting in the back yard. He then knocked on the door, and said "hey, would you be willing to sell your car??" The guy replies "sure, but I gotta tell you it was just stolen, so I have no idea what all is wrong with it."

Dirtbag gave him $500 and was on his way with the MR2 in his name. Shistey ****

You have to remember that the F20 and F22 are really desirable engines. I was always under the impression that the S2000 is a pretty commonly stolen car.

But then again, I'm have a car now that's only had 3(last figure I saw) reported thefts in the last 6 years in the US.

i always thought that it was not a desirable engine, i mean what hondas does it easily swap into with little modification, i believe the swapping capability is a big deal of why thieves take certain cars
