freaking piece of crap!
its near the end of the month, and cops trying to get some tickets.

so, I borrow the RADIO SHACK RADA DETECTOR with LASERVOICE from my buddy.
PIECE OF CRAP!!!

I pass THREE patrol cars on I-45, 2 on the right shoulder and 1 on the left.
The freaking radar goes beeeeep when I passed the cops. and that is all it does!!!!!!
crazy crap.
I was going 85 in 65 zone, scared the crap out of me when I see cops, and the radar does not work well.
DONT BUY IT!!!
Which one is good guys? Escort?...

 

i have a whistler... actually.. 2 of them... they both work fine... radar dectors are nice..but not a reason to get away with speeding..

well they are in seperate cars... but ive purchased alot of whistlers... i do it to know if when i am speeding and i get pulled over i know the cop actually got me with something

 

i have mine for that reason, amoung others... lol, i have one from wall mart, and it works great!!!

 

IF all three cops were pulled over in the same spot, chances are they weren't firing their speed detectors, hence no beeping

 

cometimes a cop on the side of the road mean he's drinkin' coffee...I wouldn't bother going after every 85 in a 65 if I was a cop...I have a zodiak cnd it works great with nj cops...

 

yeah...i think radio shack can be a rip off...i wuz lookin for a cassette adaptor for my ipod so i could play it thru my home stereo and they wanted 30 bucks for one and i found one online for 6 shipped...i mean holy crap...i realize that they need to do mark-ups to be profitable, but like 600%?

 

same thing here. can't complain about the one i have.
