THe proper way of saying "focuses" is foci. Get it right, noobs.

Personally, I dislike just about all FWD cars. FWDs just don't have anything going for them. The only exception for me would be an integra - the best handling FWD out there.

Yes. It also happens to be a POS. Just a boring A to B commuter. I'm hoping to get something interesting by the summer time though

It would never take the place of the stang, but it would definitly be an awsome daily driver.
No offense, but that little Focus would tear the V6 stang apart. Heck, I raced a V6 stang (auto) in my 2.slo Jetta from 35mph and was able to keep up with it quite well.
Well i hope with a 75 shot it would take my stang, lol. I will agree, in N/A form, the v6 stangs aren't that much of a challenge, but strap on some type of F/I and you havea car that can handle tons of boost just fine.

I did. I'm still considering it, but by the looks of it, I will not get a car until summer. I also mentioned that an integra would be the only car that I would make an exception for.

I can tell you that my next car will most likely be an integra, 540i,M3, or 300zx

Thats funny, I seem to remember 6banger internals falling apart at the slightest hint of boost. You'll have to forgive me though, I've had a bad taste in my mouth ever since one of the dealers spent 15 minutes trying to convince me that the Saleen Focus was faster than a Cobra, and runs a 10 flat in the 1/4.

Speaking of focus', did they ever fix all the recalls going on with them? The last thing I remember reading about was the brakes going out at 15,000 and the window motors going out on them.

The ford 3.8 is one of the strongest blocks out there. The design pretty much came off of the GM's 3.8 that they used on the grand national. When they took the design they improved upon it a bit though. With a proper tune, stock sixes cantake 11-13psi no problem on stock internals. The internals are pretty much good to about 350-400RWHP. The stock block and crank can pretty much handle ANYTHING you throw at them. I am not going to get into all the details, but if you go to the street/strip section and look up the thread called "Mustang vs CRX" the last few pages get technical in what the 3.8 is capable of. Its good reading if your interested.
