hey guys, sorry i haven't gotten back to you. the way he scams is pretty simple. he has more than acouple of email address, paypal accounts, and different alias's. here's a link for example:

scroll down to find some names, address's, ect. this guy has been on acura forums, mitsubishi forums, nissan, ect. all across the tuner forums.
anyways, this guy is based out of the state of Ohio, in or around Columbus, and also has been using the Fairfield Library at www.fairfield.ilb.oh.us. this was from 04, he has however been hiding better since then. he has been however jumping IP addy's just recently and been striking the 240 forums, and Z car forums.
his name isn't really David Darby, but he uses that name alot and more recently. if you guys can help out in anyways to trace this guy, hit me back.

He has been taken care of, he tries to scam people here and on superhonda.com. With the help of fabrication.com(a member here and there just as I am) he has been IP banned from both. Thankyou for your help and welcome to the forum(late but still welcome to the site)

I may have been scammed, but i won't give up that easy. this type of person needs to be locked away for a long time.

bro, im thinking that the name "David Darby" isn't too far from his real one. im not sure though. what i am sure about is that he uses the same physical address in Columbus, OH. and in Blacklick, OH. i wish i could do something to catch him myself, but i have to trust the authorities.
im glad that some of you are aware of this guy. there's a guy in Texas that also got scammed like a week after me for 1300 for an SR20. we're working together on this. hopefully something comes up.
just watch your back fellas, research any info on future buys, and protect yourselves!!
