i still think that theyre gay little cars...the GM miata...and for the cost, why not buy a GTO...or a vette...the high end kit from mallett is 47,000..thats ridiculous...and the base model kit is around 20 grand...those do not include the cost of the car...

its just dumb.

Are you serious?

This is a HOnda forum, where the main goal of most of you is to take a small, light weight car and make it as fast as a high end sports car for below or the same cost.

DO you honestly not see the reasoning behind purchasing a $47,000 solstice with a 500whp V8 in it over a base model vette or gto?

Called individuality...not to mention a 500hp little roadster

sleeper anyone?

its not a sleeper a yugo with a built 4g63T is a sleeper....and that is 47,000 on top of the cost of the car. and how does making a EF hatch an 11 second car for low cost equate to paying 50,000 with tax for an engine upgrade? for the cost of that mullett slowstice, i could build a heavy car that would run 10s, let alone a nice light hatch.

and do you know what a 505hp slowstice is good for? burnouts. because we cannot forget that when you have a chassis meant to handle 200hp, and you have 500hp, it wont do anything with it...if you wanted a great drift car, the slowstice would be ideal.

and that 68,000 USD slowstice or sky is nothing like an exotic, vette, viper, gto, etc...once you waste that money, that car is instantly devalued when the tires touch pavement, as it is obviously a car meant to be beaten on...and its a specialty vehicle...and more than anything, the bottom line is that its still a cheap *** car with a big engine.

and a GM product...

my daytona has more power than that, and the daytona is VERY mod accepting...just making a turbo car doesnt fix things...making a GOOD turbo car does though...

also, if you know of anyone who needs a turbo for that car, i have one.
