I love the socom games, so I just got combined assault but the problem is, when I get to a check point, it doesn't ask me to save the game. If I'm about to die I can go to the start menu and press start from last checkpoint, but If I want to stop playing the game, I got to start from the beginning! In the manual it says it should ask me to save the game when I reach a checkpoint, but it doesnt, am I missing something???

 

ooh i beat the game so long ago. I think from memory you can start back up at the checkpoint because it automatically saves it
