Yeah, I would have to agree. It's all BS.

 

I know that it used to be illegal to have over 500 hp when my dad was a kid... but I think its' changed now. His friend had a Camaro that got stripped of some parts by the cops b/c of the law. My dad had a vette stingray....small block .... he wasn't too happy when I showed him a clip on the net of a suburu SPANKIN a vette at the strip lol

 

how the hell are they going to catch you for having too much hp? are they going to tow around a trailer dyno and make you pull on and test it?

na what he said was that they can impound your car and then they test it for horsepower and if it has too much they take it or some crap like that what he said "seemed" to make sence but it still sounded fishy.

 

Yeah... I think I saw a NYS trooper pulling one the other day, he wouldn't let me give it a go though... he said "That's a honda, this thing isn't ment for that kind of power."
