There are two types of cables you can use for HDTV. HD Component and HDMI. HDMI will have 1 connector (for audio and video). HD Component will have 5 seperate wires. Not sure on the colors of the wires, but 3 are for video and 2 are for audio.. I would recommend getting and HDMI cable if your 360 has the slot for it. It looks like the connector you have a standard component cable. Three wires, yellow, red, white. Yellow is for video, red and white is for audio. There should be an input that has yellow/red/white on the TV. Match up the wires. Bear in mind that this will not give you a 720P/1080i/1080P HD video. You will have a standard definition picture (480i, maybe 480p). I recommend you buy an HDMI or HD Component calbe. Go to Amazon.com and buy an HDMI cable if you 360 has and HDMI. I got mine for a $5.00. In the store they are $100 but you can buy an off brand oen for $5.00. Since HDMI sends a digital signal, even a voltage drop of 2V(From 5V) is alright as the computer will interpret this as logic 1. I hooked up my $5 HDMI cable and it works. Its finals week so I haven't been able to play it that much. If your 360 doesn't have an HDMI port, you might have to buy a proprietary cable from microsoft.

Did you flip that little switch on the connector?
