Thieves are so stupid
oh and my antenna was up and its never ever up
My fault for leaving garbage bags full of pop cans in my backyard, but some douchebag stole 4 full bags (adds up when you get 10 cents back/can for returning them). What can I say, I drink a lot of pop.
Debating layering dog **** in with a full bag of cans, or rigging up a booby trap of some sort using a bear banger so when he kicks in my back gate again he alerts the neighbourhood.
Bear banger.

a alarm is not difficult to install a standard alarm would only take about 1/2hour for me to install at most... but more features takes longer like keyless entry and remote start, tilt sensors, extra sirens. the main thing is the longer it takes you to install it the better the install will be by taking the time to route wires with other factory wires, time involved with taping up all the wires so when someone looks under the dash they cannt tell anything is aftermarket... if you just leave the wires just hangen all under the dash and a thief can just reach under and rip them out then your alarm install is crap.... and is basically no good.
now for a remote start system it would take about 4-5hours for a good install for me.
one main thing to remember when installing a alarm is "you dont use every wire" i typically chop off about a dozen extra wires off the alarms brain that are not needed.

I own a 89 honda civic hatchback. the civics with the large plastic reflector that says civic in silver across the **** end. and i heard something like something break one night and i went outside but didnt see nothing. so didnt pay it no mind. go to take my ex fiancee to work and happen to look in the back. the reflector is busted in about 5 pieces. one still actually attached and dangling from the trunk lid and the rest shattered on the ground behind my car. lame *** bastids attempt to break into my car. the 4 door models have the lock mechanism built behind that plastic part not the hatchbacks
only costed me like 5 bucks for a new trunk reflector but i think its funny that some dumbass actually tried to get in and failed miserably

ya busting out the trunk taillight can get you acess to the latch but you still have to bust off the lock or bend the linkage arm. but the stupid part is if your going to bust a taillight out you might as well bust the window out. only takes a spring loaded punch to shatter a side window.
