A few weeks back i was behind a state patrol on the highway, there was an SUV across the median speeding I guess so he decides to e brake it and slide over the whole median and chase it down. me and the car in front of me both came to a skidding stop trying to avoid the idiot.

And I'm willing to bet it was blatantly speeding (ie, 20+ over the limit). When you're traveling about 65mph and the vehicles coming towards you are moving about the same rate, you can't tell if they're going +/- 5mph.

Yeah, I had the laptop on standby with the thread open, got back on the comp and replied without refreshing to see if there were more replies.
And how did I fail? Because one of my points was technically incorrect? I honestly doubt 95% of the Highway Patrol officers on the road are going to take the time to turn around (or in some cases drift through the median apparently) and chase after your a** for doing 70 in a 65.
