Things that REALLY piss me off
I forgot to post this yesterday... I HATE CINCO DE MAYO!!! In denver it gets soo horrible. We already have some of the worst traffic in the US and then all these fools have to come crowd it some more. Yesterday I was trying to get somewhere and they shut down 3 streets i needed to go through. I ended up having to go to another town and go around just to get to a place that was a mile away. NOT EVEN JOKING
-When people use the phrase "it's physics" to describe something that's inevitable. 99% of the time, what they're discussing has nothing to do with physics. If you're discussing the coefficient of friction, yes, that's physics. If you're discussing why Jeff is going to spill his beer, it's not.
-When people start turn on their turn signals as they start turning. It's a little too late for that, don't you think?
-(not as bad) when people use their turn signals while in a turn-only lane. You're giving me no new information; I already know you're turning, so whatever.
-BMW drivers. One day I'll buy a junkyard BMW turn signal and put it on Craigslist as "like new-never used!"
-People that weave traffic. Congratulations, you got where you were going three seconds faster. That's definitely worth the increased risk of causing an accident.
-People that stop behind you at the last second at red lights. I wouldn't mind so much if everyone had insurance, but there's so many dumbf*cks that don't have insurance I freak out when someone does this to me.
-Anti-gun nuts. Firearms kill people. So do wood chippers, knives, cars, animals, large falls, heavy objects, and sudden deceleration, to name a few. Should we ban those too?
-People that try to incorporate religion into everything. I wouldn't mind it if it weren't so obnoxious
-People that try to discuss religion. You believe what you believe, I believe what I believe. I don't discuss religion with my parents, why would I discuss it with someone else?
-People that try to discuss politics with me. I. Don't. Care. Power corrupts, the system is flawed, and the constitution means nothing anymore. Why should I care?
-People that point out the obvious dangers of certain things (ie, energy drinks, smoking, etc). Everyone knows and they have a choice. Don't try to influence my choice as it will just make me want to introduce my fist to your face.
-Inconsiderate roommates
-People that are serious all the time. Relax, your first act in this world was crying, covered in blood and naked; why try to save face now?
-People willing to give up their rights in the name of "safety". Do you feel safer now that big brother knows all? I sure don't.
-People that think "stance" means how a car looks. "Stance" describes how the car sits; ie, ride height and wheel fitment. Stop being ignorant.
-People that call magazines "clips". It's not correct, not even a little. It wouldn't bug me so much if it was out of pure ignorance, but it's just out of stubbornness. You can correct someone on the issue and you usually get "my father called them 'clips' in the military", which just means you're father was issued an ancient long gun or he's just as stubborn and wrong as you.
