Default Work Experience

This week ive been doing my work experience for school at a mechanics place in a nearby town. They mainly just service cars and ive been helping. Not really a big place, there are 3 hoists and 3 people working in the workshop area (theres a shop out the front too) but one of the guys isnt there this week. Ive been changing brake pads, oil, tranny fluid, filters and stuff like that. Its been good and ive learnt a few things. The worst part was probably trying to change the brake pads on a 20 year old skyline. The bolts on the calipers werenear impossible to undo, but i got it in the end. Just thought id share that withyou guys

People here dont realise that they are not allmighty bad *** cars unless you get the R32's, R33's, R34's and even then they are about like the Mustang of Japan. I lived in Tokyo for 2 years and the people there car wise are far more interested in muscle/performance cars from the U.S. I guess the grass is allways greener on the otherside untill you have been on both sides.

Yea theres heaps of Skylines here in Australia too, and probably more than half of them are stock and they arent all that great. Australias kinda divided like theres heaps of people into muscle cars and then heaps into imports. I'm in between but i prefer imports
