^ lol I hate having to point this out but the shirt is usually the first thing that comes off. If she is your g/f then she isn't going to care if you are a little flabby, it isn't going to be a surprise to her since weather you have your shirt on or not I'm sure she knows you don't have a six pack. I hate to put it that bluntly but that is how it is. Honeslty it isn't anything to worry about and yea making a joke about it is a good idea, it is what I do about things I am unsecure about. If you want a girl they really aren't hard to get, as long as you are nice to them and don't smell bad you can get one. Just go talk to some girls, get to know them a little and if you turn out to start liking them ask them to go to dinner or a movie with you, worse thing they can say is no, it isn't a big deal. As for the depressed thing, look down the page on the off topic forum and there is one about it from recently, there is about 3-5 pages of responces and a lot of us feel the same way a lot.

First things first here. If you getyour depression under control, your body image and girlfriend problems will probably take care of themselves. See your family doctor for a refereral to a mental healthcare professional.
Not having a g/f does not cause depression. Having depression can cause you to not have a g/f though.

Save your money. No really it feels nice to know you have more money than other people. I hold my head up high eveywhere I go now cause I know I have more coin then 90% of other people my age.
