~Major Electrical Malfunction~
jdm d15b vtec, idled low and died, cranks but wont start, all inside electrics are a1, main relay fine, plenty fuel pressure, timing and belts good, all fuses good, sensors good, power to distributor, but no spark out, gutted and stuffed it with new parts, nuthin.. ecu did get wet but have spare p06(ran it before, so should at least get a burp out of the chambers), p06 didnt change any thing....harness malfunction somewhere from wet ecu zap?
(p.s) gimme answers or it'll be claimed for fire insurance soon!
haha

The sensors in the distributor supply pulses to the ECU, the ECU then processes the pulses and outputs re-timed pulses to the ICM, which fires the coil. So the ECU is a critical part in the path.
Does your ECU power up OK? The CEL should cycle on and back off when you turn the key on but don't start. If it does that put the test jumper in and see if there are any codes. Check all the power and ground points on the ECU to confirm they are powered and grounded. You could have water damage to the connector. There's a reason why insurance companies automatically total cars that have been in a flood.
