Default 00-97 (reverse) Front end conversion help?

I am wondering, and this might seem a bit backwards, I have a 1997 Si that is needing too much repairs to be worth it. If I buy a 2000 coupe SE that has a wrecked front end (mostly panels and bumper) will my 97' front end fit onto the 2000 with much trouble?
I've seen lots of tips how to do this 97'-00' (upgrade) wise, but am wondering if the opposite is even possible. My 97 parts are all in good shape. Thanks.

Thanks for the insight, I think I'll probably go for it. Anyone else have experience with this type of thing?

no experience, but it will all swap over as long as the radiator core support is swapped.
