Default 01 Civic steering wheel in 00 civic?

Hi all. I'm new here. Just got a 2000 Civic EX 2 door. Love it. One thing that bothers me is the boring/old looking steering wheel. I was wondering if i could swap it with the steering wheel from an 01 civic or any other honda that has a black wheel with the chrome "H" in the center. If it's possible please feel free to give me advise as to how to do it and where to get this wheel. Thanx!!!

The cable reel is the device that travels on the steering column that passes the wires to the controls on the wheel. The srs coupler is seperate from the control wires. It should work.
