Default 06 Civic EX Audio Tech Question

I need some help. I've tried to read everything on the new 06 EX radio. I'm in the market for an 06 right now...

The EX radio lists as being MP3/WMA capable in one pamphlet, and in another listing I see it as "MP3/WMA playback capability - standard". A sales manager from one dealership says this only means it has the ability to function with the optional $500 mp3/wma player. However, a photo of the EX head unit clearly shows CD/MP3/WMA listed on the face. Does anyone know the real deal? I'm leaning towards believing it can play burned WMA files on disc (maybe because I want it to), but in reality, why would they list only the EX as having this ability, when you can buy an MP3, tape deck, dash CD changer unit for just about any trim model and have it function as the AUX (thus also capable with lesser models). Is it unrealistic to consider a deck would read MP3/WMAs? My last aftermarket deck did all three, so why wouldn't Honda follow suit eventually?

Help please! I'm dying to know this teeny bit of tech info!!!! And I can't find it anywhere else.
