Default Starting problem

So i went to move my car out into the driveway today and it wouldnt start. I just bought it about a week ago and i havent driven it at all since then because i have to wait until i sell my other car. So i turn the key and the engine turns over and the radio and A/C come on but then the car dies. So i try to start it again and nothing. Tried a couple more times throughout the day and it just wont turn over at all but the radio still comes on so i dont think its the battery. Any ideas?

There are so many things that could be causing this problem that it's hard to find somewhere to start. What I would do is pull your codes and see what you find out.

sounds like battery.
clean the battery cables, then check battery with a voltmeter.

Yeah, sounds like the battery. The starter pulls more amps than the radio, so the radio can still work with a bad battery.

well my grampa stopped over to give me a hand and he got in the car and gave a lil gas into the engine and started it right up. Turns out the engine drained of gas for some reason and the plugs had nothing to ignite with so obviously it woldnt start. good ole gramps comes to the rescue. speaking of my gramps he used to run his car up in mich. He had an olds 442 that absolutely hauled ***.
