Default 06 Civic's driver seat cloth fabric is shredding from wear

Car has almost 100,000 miles but the driver seat fabric has worned out revealing the foam from within the seat. I've heard good things about Honda engines lasting for 100's of thousands of miles but I certainly thought that the seats would last longer than the engine.

Anyway, not sure how to fix this issues. Seat covers seem like a cheap fix for a car this young but the Honda dealership wants about $625 just to re-upholster the top part of the driver seat...ouch.

I do want matching seat fabric but not sure how to proceed?
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Cloth seats will pretty much always tear there. Even my leather seats are worn in that area. The cheapest thing you can do is take the seat out of the car, start pulling it apart, and try to use a needle and thread to put it back together.
