Unhappy 07 Civic wheel bearings...HELP

I have a beautiful 07 Civic EX with only 54,000 miles - that is just getting a Honda broke in right.....I think the wheel bearings in the rear are bad...I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and are there anything on a recall for this. I don't think this should happen at 54,000. PLEASE HELP

What makes you think the wheel bearings are bad?

Did you jack the rear up and wiggle the tires? If they don't have play and you're hearing noises from them going down the road, have the tire balance checked.

well you are right I should haver done that before I posted that....should have gave HONDA a little more credit than that...but I didn't care if it was wheel bearings cause there is nothing gonna make me want to get rid of this car...

btw....I went into panic mode and I really didn't have a place to jack it up. I have a gravel driveway that has had alot of rain here in NC....So I took it to a machanic that I know and it was the rear brakes wore out....oh well...feel alot better now...!!

Do not be suprised if the problem ends up being the noise associated with uneven wear of the rear tires. It is a common problem especially if you run around with more then minimum weight on the rear suspension.

For further information Search for "08-001" as in "TSB 08-001", searching "TSB08-001" does not work.
