I have 2600 miles on my 07 Civic EX and have not got above 29 mpg. My driving is very moderate and 50% hwy. I am suppose to get 30/40. Any suggestions??

 

It says ESTIMATED mpg.... you're looking at driving by yourself, 0-60 acceleration in about 10 minutes and never carry luggage and only have a half tank... and no spare tire... drive your car a little more and really break it in... or consider getting an aftermarket intake to up your mpg and give you a little more power.

 

SRI or CAI and what manufacturer do you recommend?

 

auto? what engine?

 

If you want to improve MPG, the best way is to maintain your speeds and limit fast accelerations. When you're on the freeway, set the cruise at 60mph. Not fun, but that will give you 40mpg+ on the freeway.
