is the 1300cc 8 valve engine in a '84 Civic HF a close tolerance engine?
A friend of mine has a Civic HF (1300cc 8 valve) that seems to have a broken timing belt. I was wondering if this is going to be a major repair for him, or a minor one. I cranked it over, and it doesn't make any loud noises. So I assume the valves. pistons are ok. Any thoughts. thanks.
