Default Got a d16Y8 head, 1 valve has a bit a corrsion wont close completly...

Hey, I just bought a D16Y8 head from a member on this fourm, I ripped apart my engine last night, And I was about to put the head on but I had a freind of mine look at it, He works for honda. He seen the on Clyinder #4 The exhuast valve on the left side is not closing completely. Also the head is shaved ALOT, He said it most likely had a blown head gasket before. The shave is not completely even. What could happen if I put this head on?

It will run poorly. Very poorly. If the valve is leaking you will not have the proper compression. On the other hand. It may loosen up and be fine.....
I may still have a head like this you could have for very short money. I'll check the garage. It came off an 1998 EX.
