1990 Civic DX Rear Defroster Doesn't Work
Hi guys. Another question.
Since it's winter, defrosting is becoming more frequent but my rear defroster hasn't been working (I don't think it has since I've owned it to be honest). I hit the rear defrost button but no light comes on and I've checked the back connectors but I think they're both connected correctly. I even tried seenig if the fuse was bad but apparently there was no problem, but just to be safe, I switched it with another fuse and still no success. So my question is:
What could be the cause of this problem and where do I go from here?

Given that the light does not turn ON when you push the button, the problem is likely the defogger switch itself.
1) Verify that fuse #36 (20A) in the dash fuse box is not blown. If blown, replace.
2) If fuse is fine, then remove and test the defogger switch as described in the picture. Replace switch if any defects are found.
