Default 1999 Civic Ignition switch

so i am just wondering if someone coukd tell me if i did this right

so my 5 pin connector is the one in the pic...so is the top right the 8 slot, bottom left the 10 and bottom right the 12

so i turned my multimeter to ohms and set it to 20M

only time i got it to read 0.00(which means continuity from what i understand)
is in the on position and between 8,10,12....it says 3,8 10 and 12 in repair manual but anything with 3 in any postion i couldnt get it to read 0.00

got nothing in the accesory or in the start position..actually i might have had a reading of 10 or 12 but def no 0.00

did i do this right? and if so that means it needs replacing right?

i hope it makes sense what i put

thanks again
