Okay I have been in this head about 5 times now. I though I had it fixed the last time when I sent to Oreilly machine shop in Oklahoma city. They replaced my guides which the machine shop before didn't change. Also they replaced all my exhaust valves.


Also noticed when I start the car when its cold outside it had a like pinging on one cylinder ? It stopped after the motor warmed up. But the motor just did it when it was real cold outside. Also changed the fuel filter. This last time they also replaced all my injectors.


I pulled the plugs the other day and heres a pic

The pics with all 4 spark plugs is when I pulled them the first time. The pics with only two spark plugs the dark oily looking one was in cylinder 3 but before 200 miles it had that white ash on it.

So anyone can help me with this? I am about tired of going threw heads of being removed and reinstalled. Does anyone know any place that does rebuilt Honda motors in central tx with warranty or reman on.

 

Proper valve adjustment is very important. Do it yourself or at least check it, don't trust someone else. It is normal to hear some clattering valve noise when the engine is cold. If the valves are too tight it will misfire especially at idle.

If you're getting a lot of oil on the plug the rings could be bad. How is the compression?
