Default 1999 honda civic power issues

Alright, so my honda is a piece of crap. There's that, but I've been having power issues for the last few months. Car is acting like it isnt getting enough power to run, I'm missing bolts from all over, and there are random cable splices. (I have no idea what I am doing, or hoe to diagnose problems. I am not car savvy) Anyways, I have lights, and power when I turn the key over, I push started it this morning and got about 1 block before it started wanting to die. Sputtering, and not moving much at all. Pushed it back home, and now its sitting. I've replaced the alternator, and that fixed the problem for a week or so. I dont know what I'm doing. Somebody help me pleaseeeeee. It's my only transportation, and I need it for work and my kid. Any help would be amazing.
