2002 civic crank sensor problem help!!!!
hi i have a 2002 honda civic ex coupe with 110k . i was driving it and the car suddenly die. i went to start it back up and it would start for a secod then bog out and die. from reading up i changed the crank sensor which did not help. but here is the problem, if i disconnect the crank sensor the car starts and runs fine other then it goes into limp mode meaning i cant go past a certain speed or rpms. as soon as i connect it, the car wont start. do you guys think the computer is shot? any suggestions?

I say get a new camshaft sensor, water pump, serpentine belts and replace them. Reset top dead center using the instructions in your Haynes or Chiltons. If that does not work, then you probably have some sort of electrical issue that you should let a pro diagnose (at least I would, I hate wires)
